Rarely in the exclusivity of the high end collector car market does a real deal, real motor, documented, NCRS Top Flighted 1967 427/435 Corvette become available. We at D&M Motorsports are privileged to offer one of the 3,754 real 435's built in 1967. Sold new at Courtesy Chevrolet in Phoenix Arizona, this code 988 Marlboro Maroon over code STD Black Vinyl Corvette was ordered with the following factory options: L71 427ci, 435hp engine; K66 Transistor Ignition System; G81 Positraction Rear Axle 4:11 gears; M21 4-speed Manual Transmission, Close Ratio; P92 Whitewall Tires, 7.75X15; C07 Auxiliary Hardtop, Body Colored; U69 AM-FM Radio; J50 Power Brakes; A01 Soft Ray Tinted Glass, All Windows; F41 Special Heavy Duty Suspension; and N11 Off Road Exhaust System. This Corvette still retains it's original "born with" JE coded 427/435 engine assembled from the Tonowanda NY engine plant dated October 5th, 1966, numbers matching M21 close ratio transmission, and numbers matching 4:11 positraction rear end. In addition the numbers and dates are correct from the factory Holley carburetors to the original GM oil pan. Nothing was overlooked in the restoration of this rare automobile. Fully restored in the Spring of 1993 and National Corvette Restorers Society Top Flighted on August 19th, 1993 in Bend, Oregon at a Regional Judging Meet. In 2005, the owner treated this rare Corvette to another ground up restoration courtesy of veteran restorer Cary Kuczkowski of D&M Corvette in Downers Grove, IL, the youngest recipient of the exclusive NCRS Duntov award. An original NOS set of GM N11 Off Road Exhaust System was located and also installed. I cannot say enough about the integrity about the restoration of this fabulous Corvette. No detail was overlooked and this midyear was prepared for future Bloomington Gold and NCRS judging events. Provenance is key to any high end collectible Corvette. This 1967 Corvette retains it's original tank sticker documenting every single option and expected date of production of 10-21-1966. Also included are the full judging sheets and NCRS Top Flight Award as well as restoration receipts and past ownership history. This rare Corvette was sought out by an NCRS Master Level Judge with 30 plus years experience and located nearly fifteen years ago for the discriminating owner who demanded a real motor, documented 427/435 convertible. Chevrolet built only 3,754 435 horse Corvettes in 1967. 1967 was, is, and always will be the year to collect. A real motor, Top Flighted, documented, well optioned, body off restored is a must for any collection. It's rare for a real one to come to market. Seize the opportunity.
