Superformance

1.
How does the Superformance
vehicle come?
The Superformance vehicles are supplied as completed
factory manufactured rollers less engine and transmission.
They come in your choice of 16 standard colors ready
to accept the engine of your choice.
2.
How complete is a Superformance
roller?
You need only provide the engine and transmission.
3. What
is the advantage of a completed factory manufactured
works roller over any other kit?
The Superformance replicas are the result of attention
to detail and engineering. Almost all manufacture and
design is done in house at Superformance. No donor or
previously designed parts are fitted to the car. From
the ground up components are designed specifically for
the Superformance vehicle. This consistent approach
to manufacturing and attention to detail results in
proven world-class performance with fit and finish second
to none.
4. What
suspension do you use?
All Superformance chassis have frames and suspensions
designed specifically for each model.
The Superformance MK III and Coupe chassis have their
own fully independent front and rear suspension with
unequal length upper and lower control arms. Bilstein
coil over shocks with H&R springs as well as front
and rear sway bars specifically designed for Superformance
are standard equipment. The geometrics of the suspension
are designed for the specific Superformance model resulting
in precise and stable handling. Superformance borrows
no components from other vehicles to achieve this perfection.
The Superformance S1 Roadster features a multi-adjustable
fully independent double wishbone front suspension.
In the rear a Mumford multi-link and a rising-rate bell
crank system is used to keep roll center at optimum
height and cornering flat and even. The billet-machined
uprights in the front allow for independent camber,
castor and kingpin angle. Bilstein coil over shocks
and H&R springs are designed for the roller.
The Mk III and S1 come with Wilwood four piston caliper
brakes at all four wheels. The Coupe has huge PBR brakes
to cater for its 200mph + capabilities.
5.
Do Superformance replicas come painted?
Yes. All rollers are painted with PPG Global basecoat/clearcoat
paints. Paint finish is show quality. Superformance has
16 Standard colors, however, you can choose a custom color
or any manufacturers paint code as long as it can be matched
to the PPG system. 6.
Does it come with wheels and tires?
Yes. The Superformance MK III is sold with authentic 15"
original style one-piece aluminum knock-off wheels. Tires
are provided in your choice of several brands.
The Superformance S1 Roadster comes equipped with tires
on 15" five-spoke alloy wheels designed for the S1.
The Coupe is fitted with purpose designed 18 inch alloy
wheels and tires to match.
7. What
engines can I use?
The Superformance MK III and Coupe comes with headers,
sidepipes and engine stanchions. We highly recommend any
of the Ford pushrod V-8s (302, 351, 390, MK III, 428,
429, 460, 514). 99% of the cars are Ford powered, however,
a few clients have been imaginative with their personal
engine choices.
8. I'm
a larger person. Can I fit in the Superformance car?
Yes, the foot box space in the Superformance MK III is
dropped 2.5" on the drivers side. It is very deep
and accommodating to the tall. Also, seat placement can
be set for the individual. The Coupe is spacious and can
accommodate drivers up to 6’4” tall.
The Superformance S1 Roadster is engineered with an
adjustable pedal box that you can change with the turn
of a dial from inside the cockpit. The steering wheel
is also telescopic.
9. Do
the cars have tops?
Yes. The Superformance MK III comes with a soft top as
well as side curtains and splitting tonneau cover. There
is a matching hardtop available from the factory.
The Superformance S1 Roadster comes with a removable soft
top that can be rolled into a T-top. Also included are
removable clamshell carbon fiber doors with adjustable
sidescreens. 10.

and manufacturing processes, and the excellence of its

international ISO standards and must meet stringent in-house
inspection processes. It is this dedication to consistency
that sets us apart from the competition.
11.

chassis, we do have demo cars at most dealer locations.
